About Us

Built by students,
for our community.

The Greenwich Finance Series is a financial literacy initiative founded through the First Selectman's Youth Commission for the Town of Greenwich — bringing accredited experts and real-world tools to students and neighbors across our region.

Our Story

How GFS started.

Since sophomore year, our founder has spent Tuesdays serving on the board of the First Selectman's Youth Commission for the Town of Greenwich. Through that board, he founded the Greenwich Finance Series (GFS) to make financial literacy accessible to students and other local demographics.

GFS organizes free financial literacy events throughout Greenwich and neighboring communities — partnering with practicing financial professionals, coordinating with public and private schools, and designing each program around what students actually need to know.

We're currently planning one to two additional events this year aimed at a wider range of demographics across the community.
